Abstract: Carcharhinus falciformis (Müller & Henle, 1839), a species in decline worldwide, is among the most frequently caught and landed sharks in Côte d'Ivoire. This study provides the first data on its relative growth and physiological condition within the Ivorian Exclusive Economic Zone. Between October 2020 and January 2021, 99 specimens were collected at the Abobodoumé landing site in Abidjan. Analyses of size structure, length–length and length–weight relationships, and condition factor (K) were conducted to assess growth dynamics. The population showed a unimodal and sexually balanced size distribution, ranging from 959.52 mm to 1179.28 mm. Strong correlations were observed between total and standard length (r² = 0.988) and between total length and body weight (r² = 0.843), indicating positive allometric growth. The mean condition factor (>0.56) reflected good physiological status. These results provide baseline data essential for monitoring and sustainable management of
C. falciformis in Ivorian waters.
