Etroplusrnsuratensis between fishes fed on a control diet comprising groundnut basedrnfeed and experimental fishes fed on a 10% and 30% algal based diet. Thernnon-specific humoral immune response in skin mucus on anti-protease activitiesrnimproved in the fishes fed on experimental diet fed group, while no changesrnobserved in proteases activity demonstrating enhanced innate immune responses.rnNon-specific cellular immune response in head kidney analysed by respiratoryrnburst activity [Reactive oxygen specific (ROS) and Reactive nitrogen speciesrn(RNS)] in kidney cells increased, indicating stronger cellular immunity in fishrnfed with algal diets.
