A preliminary study of fresh water piscine diversity in district Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, India

Abstract: Piscine diversity is subject before a long time because fish are food for ancient time for human being. In Recent year fish is a nutritive food use by people because it has protein, fat, omega 3 in it. So study of piscine diversity is necessary many scientist and researcher works in this field in different district of U.P. but along time are not any scientific study in Sambhal district. So present investigation of primary survey of fish species in Sambhal Distict. In primary survey there are 9 species of fish which belong 8 genera and which belong 6 families and which are belong 4 orders. These fish species are
Catla catla, Cirrihinus mrigala, Labeo rohita, Mystus seengala, Clarias batrachus, Heteropneusteas fossilis, Channa punctatus, Channa striatus, Anguilla anguilla. These fish are nutritive value and use in as a food by local people and supply in other area. Present survey of fish use a base line for future research.
