Length-weight relationship (LWR) of fish, Labeo rohita (Hamilton) from pond near Kalayat, Kaithal, Haryana India

Abstract: The present study have been carried on the thirty one specimens of the rohu, Labeo rohita (Hamilton) collected from the pond near the Kalayat in Kaithal, Haryana, India. The total fish length ranged between 24.6-40.3 cm and the total weight of the fish varies between 190-455 gms. The present studies on Labeo rohita (Hamilton) from the pond near Kalayat in Kaithal, Haryana, shows a negative allometric growth pattern with ‘b’ value 2.263.
