Abstract: The
Trichogaster lalius, Dwarf Gourami
is a small indigenous ornamental fish species which has long been one of the most popular aquarium fish and among the gourami, it is second most important aquarium fish, adored by aquarists for its sparkling, almost translucent blue colouring accented with fine stripes of red or dark orange. It has also been considered as eatable fish due to their good taste. The present report has been prepared to gather the available information on different aspects of
Trichogaster lalius further study of which will help to make
ornamental fish industry more transparent, vibrant and economically viable but also for conservation.
