Abstract: In this study we conducted an experiment to determine the time of ripening of pikeperch (
Sander volgensis) broodstock. The article presents the period of incubation of eggs of pike perch depending on the water temperature. The experiment of growing of pikeperch fingerlings was described until the age of yearlings with the combined method. The novelties of the work lie in the use of new feeding rations and assess the impact of elevated temperatures on the life activity of pike perch fry, including physiological indicators. The study evaluated the rate of linear (longitudinal) and weight growth, the coefficient of condition factor of the Volga zander fry cultivated in the industrial conditions, spawning-nursery farms and fish caught from the natural habitats were discussed.
