Abstract: The Nizam Sagar Dam constructed across the Manjira River, a tributary of the Godavari River, between Achampet (Nizamabad) and Banjapalle villages of the Nizamabad district in Telangana, India. The dam was constructed in 1923 by the rulers of the erstwhile Hyderabad State, Mir Osman Ali Khan. In this present investigation we have made an attempt to estimate the total sixteen number of physico-chemical parameters along with Pearson correlation and total nineteen number of different species of fishes. Based on the results all the selected physico-chemical parameters are within the permissible limits of standard methods of APHA, AWWA.
