Author(s): S.A. Mastan
Abstract: A number microbial components and plant products such as polysaccharides, lentinan, levamisole, schizophyllan, oligosaccharides, muramyl dipeptide and yeast derivatives have been used as immunostimulants in aquaculture to stimulate the innate immune system of fish and shrimp.
