Aquaculture information exchange facilitating farmers

Abstract: The present study was completed in five districts of Kerala. Primary data was collected from 225 farmers who availed support from the Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) and from 165 Department of Fisheries (DoF) staff officials who provided such support. The presently existing aquaculture information exchange, facilitating fish farmers was illustrated to finally conclude with an extension strategy using mobile phone and internet among farmers.
